I had been told by my Blue Hill pals some time ago that there would be a quilt with Party Dress appearing in McCall's Quick Quilts but I wasn't sure what month. Well, I was perusing the McCalls Quilting website last week and saw the
preview and nearly popped out of my skin! It was even more fun to go into my local grocery store and pick it up off the newstand and find the quilt in the December/January issue!! The quilt was designed and made by Joanie Holton and Melanie Greseth and I love what they did. It was exciting for me too because when I spoke to them several months ago and they told me they were fussy cutting the diamond garden flowers I told him that was something I had in mind when I designed it so I was so excited to see it used that way. It is on page 64 of McCall's Quick Quilts December/January issue! I need to go get one more issue to send to my Granny!
