The folks at Blue Hill sent me bolts of my fabric and it feels like an embarrasment of riches to have all these bolts for myself so it is time to share! Leave me a comment telling me what your favorite sorts of prints to sew with are. I am mostly curious what sort of scale you like to work with, your favorite colors, florals or geometrics- that sort of thing. In a week or so I will pick out two people and send them each three yards of fabric- a yard each of your choice from Party Dress. Or 6 half yards of your favorites. Or one big 3 yard piece of a cheater print. Your choice! If you want to get an extra entry, go ahead and tweet or blog the giveaway and then pop over and let me know you did. Hopefully by the time I pull the names I will have the ok to finally reveal my next collection!
On a side note, today is the 13th anniversary of our wedding. Lucky 13! I picked a good one so I imagine there will be plenty more where that came from. He really is such a fantastic guy. Here we are on our big day-

We look so young! I have to tell you- we did see each other before the ceremony for picture taking. I came out all dolled up and he came over, held my hands, looked sweetly in my eyes and said, "You look like a synchronized swimmer". Not really the sentimental words of love I was expecting but so totally him to say that. And I did! Oy Vey- that hair was so shellaced that it almost looked the same later that night when I took all the pins out. It is exciting to make it to this point and still really enjoy each other. Plus my kids won the Dad lottery so I am a pretty happy woman.

Congratulations on your anniversary! Yes, you did look very young :) What a sweet thing to say that your kids won the dad lottery.
And you have another collection coming to, that's great! Looking forward to seeing it on here.
Happy anniversary!!!
I tend to buy BIG bold prints, but when I'm digging through the stash for something to sew, I tend to grab for the smaller prints first!
I love lavenders and purples, but I have a hard time finding cute prints. I love your fun fabrics!
Congrats Mo! The comment on the synchronized swimmer had me laughing..what a great line!
Congrats!
As far as what I like, I tend to go with medium to large scale prints and bright bold colors. For example I am currently working on a red/orange and white/black quilt. My favorite colors tend to be blues and teals though I also like prints that I can use to make hexies.
I love small prints, or at least that's what I tend to gravitate towards. I use a lot of small pieces in quilts, so they work best for that. I love blues, oranges, greens. I hope I win! I'd love some of your yummy prints and I am super excited to see your new collection!
Happy Anniversary!!! I too had the swimmers hair do for my wedding day, hahaha, I never thought of that, but yes it does have that look. :)

Congrats Mo - 13 years is awesome!
Hmmm, it's hard to say what my favourite types of prints are to work with! I like so many different styles from large scale florals to small dots. I definitely prefer brighter, fresher fabrics but vary between things that are really bold (such as Amy Butler's "Love") to things that are softer and "prettier" (like Kate Spain's "Verna"). I usually prefer blues, greens, and pinks but find myself using orange and purple more now too; I think it really all depends on the project!
I tend towards small to medium prints since they can be used for just about anything but there are some large prints I just can't resist!
I tweeted too! https://twitter.com/_sarah_b_/status/25063362110
And I forgot to say, happy anniversary! Congratulations!
Happy anniversary! I think my hair didn't move when I took the pins out either :-)
I love sewing with a mix of medium and small scale prints. I love the larger scale ones too but I tend to use them for quilt backs since my patchwork doesn't always accomodate them.
Can't wait to see the new line!
Great wedding pic! I bought some of your fabric already, I love it! (but I want more!) I really like small to mid-size geometric prints, dots and stripes are probably the ones I use the most. I love prints that are plays on these simple go-to designs.
It is so cool you have your own fabric line! They are beautiful! I love beautiful fabric. I sew with all kinds of stuff but love whimsical prints best I think. Thanks for the generosity!!
Congrats Mo! Smashing couple you are ;)
I love big bold florals & itty bitty dots. Though I'm also keen on whimsical prints now & then.
Wished I could've attended last week's dinner...hope to see you next month! xo
oh yes, & I tweeted too ;)
Happy, happy anniversary! Your husband's comment about your hair sounds just like something my husband would say!
Oh my gosh, I could look at those pretty blue fabrics all day! My favorite colors are blues. Blue and green, blue and white, blue and gray, blue and purple, blue and whatever! Even with warmer colors like reds and oranges, I tend to go to the shades that have a little more of a blue background. I adore large scale prints and thinking of interesting ways to use them and show them off, but I probably find medium or medium-large scale more usable. But I like variety, so I try to make myself add small scale prints to the mix. And I love all types of prints: florals, geometrics, architectural, dots, stripes, plaids, etc. Again -- lots of variety. Don't tell anyone, but I'm generally not a huge fan of most novelty prints. Shhhh. Just between us.
Tweet, tweet! Mission accomplished :D
Congrats on the wedding anniversary Mo! My favorite fabrics look vintage, a bit country, a bit floral and a lot sweet!
OOH you are giving away some very pretty fabric--hope I am one of the lucky duckies!
Happy Anniversary!!
Happy Anniversary, Mo! And that made me laugh out loud -- synchronized swimmer, haha. Well, I'd take being a beautiful synchronized swimmer anyday! Sign me up to win some fabric. It's been a while since I've gotten to just play with my sewing machine since we moved, so I would be tickled to win ANYTHING! (But especially your beautiful fabric...)
Happy Anniversary...
Love the blue dot fabric, so pretty!
Happy Anniversary. I don't know about the size of print it really just depends on my mood when I start. thanks for the chance.

Happy anniversary! :)
Beautiful prints! I love to sew with small prints mostly! :)
Congratulations on your Anniversary!!
My favorite prints to work with are bright colors and fun geometric shapes!
Congrats! I like your allover dots and both the inky blues. Congrats on your marriage and your bolts! Your fabric is awesome and hey, synchronized swimmers are hot chicks!
(sorry if this is my second post, my other one didn't seem to go through)
Congrats on your Lucky 13th!
I like small/floral prints or dots in light colors.
Thanks for the chance!

Happy Anniversary!
I found your blog through a link on 'Happy Zombie' site and am furiously adding to my own blog list :)
I love patchwork quilting with florals, possibly as I have inherited a load from my grandmother. I really want to try out some bold prints though and get retro chic with contrasting yellow/brown or aqua/pink.
So much to do so little time ;)
Happy Anniversary and many more to come. I love your fabrics, I love dots and flowers and scale? Hmmm...medium for some reason first.
I gotta go and tweet you now!
I love large prints but I tend to have a hard time working them into my projects so I tend to use medium and small alot more. I also love polkadots! Can wait to see your new collection. Jodi B.

happy anniversary! I loved hearing what your hub said! guys crack me up :D
I really like large scale patterns. But I am often unsure of what to make with them. But for some reason they make my hear sing!
Happy Anniversary! May God grant you many, many more happy years together.
I find myself most drawn to modern, bright prints with either geometrics or stylized flowers. And I love anything blue.
Thanks for the chance!!
Happy Anniversary!!
I love ALL fabrics- I'd say most of my stash though is medium sized prints, a lot of bright colors as I do a lot of sewing for my son... I prefer more jewel tones for myself and for our house though....
Happy anniversary! I always think I love big and bold, but when push comes to shuff I pick delicate flowers, checks, or just plain solids! Little bit like myself, big and bold on the outside, delicate and solid on the inside ;-)
eLovely picture! Congratulations on your anniversary.
I don't know if I have a favorite type of fabric - there are so many! I usually gravitate towards brighter colors with graphic patterns or cool large-scale floral prints. I also love Japanese imports that have cute animals.
i'm a lazy quilter and i've been using lines of fabrics--they have the variety i need--of colors and sizes--to make an interesting quilt. i know it's not quite "legitimate" to profess my love of fat quarter bundles :-) but i also have a lot less time now (young kids at home) to go shopping. and pink fabrics--can't resist them!
I tend to like smaller prints. Geometrics and flowers get my smiling!! That being said - LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE your new fabric. CANNOT wait for that to come out.
You guys are SO cute! I still haven't met your husband... or you mine, I guess! I'm missin' my Mo time!!!
Happy Anniversary!
I tend to buy half yard cuts of everything, and looking through my stash I realize I like bold colors in the darker shades. I really need some lighter fabrics to work with.
Thanks for your give away and many more years of happiness.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
LOVE YOUR FABRICS!

Oh to look like a synchronised swimmer. I dream of being Esther Williams even though i'm scared of water. It's all those flowers and soft focus.
I have to say, you're a stunning lady!!!
