PRESUMMERPROJECTFRENZY!

That is about how it felt. I woke up one morning a couple of weeks before school was to be out for the summer and thought- if I don't get a few projects done now, they won't get done until September! So I buckled down and knocked a few big things off my to do list. The best one, for me, is what I did to the couch above. It was slipcover time and I wasn't entirely sure I had it in me. It is not perfect, but I am thrilled with the results. The fabric is lovely lineny looking blend and it was dreamy to sew with. I was nervous about putting the zippers on the seat cushions but they are the thing that look the most like the original factory made cover. I have to say, it wasn't difficult, I just had to go slowly and pin pin pin! I bled a lot but it was worth it. Plus the living room got a nice fresh coat of paint. We cleaned it up and joked later that it now seems like adults might actually live in the house. I finally got this pair up on the wall. I bought them at a thrift store and have been wanting to hang them up. I find them so charming. At first I only bought the woman but my husband chided me for breaking up the pair and he was right! The were embroideries that were, according to the back, completed in 1975 (her) and 1977 (him). Aren't the great? And they fit perfectly in this little nook at the end of the fireplace.
Along with that great cabinet. I found it at an estate sale and it was the perfect size. I am going to sand it and stain it in a green translucent stain but that may have to wait until Sept. Next up- the diningroom!

I, for one, am very impressed. A slipcover?! They make it look easy on HGTV, but I am very intimidated. Yours looks great!

The most distinguishing feature of a lv is the monogrammed Louis vuitton bags logo that was patented in 1896. The bags were usually made of brown canvas, but off late they have brought out colorful louis vuitton bag as well. Some louis vuitton also have oriental inspired quatrefoils and flowers.
