Doll Quilt swap

I just finished participating in my first doll quilt swap and I am hooked. I love having a project to do that is inspired by some sort of assignment with someone else's taste involved. I feel like it gets me to think in another way. Plus doll quilts are just too cute! The beauty above is the quilt I received yesterday in the mail. I love the dark background and the bright colors. I was going to hang it on the wall in my studio but I put it on the table to wait to be photograped and it fits perfectly! I will keep it there for now.
Here is a detail of the circles. I love circles. And here is the whole thing. Thank you Solidia!

Here are a couple of photos from the one I sent off. I hope my partner likes it!

Your quilt is beautiful. I love the Pelican embroidery :o) and the patchwork around the edges ties everything together great. I'm sure it will be treasured. Have a great weekend!

Hi! I'm the one who received the quilt you made, and I sent you an email, but I just wanted to make sure you knew I had received it. I loved it! Thank you so much! The colors are great, and I love the embroidery! The one you got is beautiful, too. Such a fun swap!
