My sweet 6 year old girl likes to bring me little gifts of flowers. Sometimes she will pick a few and hand them over but my favorite is when she makes these amazing little creations. She found all of these in the backyard, put them all together and laid them inside a big mussel shell we found at the beach and gave it all to me. Last year during baseball season during some of the many practices for her brother's team, she would bring me little pieces of holey wood stuffed with tiny daisies or other tiny flowers stuffed into pinecones. I love these little gifts for how beautiful they are and for how much they speak of her creative little spirit.

Isn't it amazing how sweet the gift of a daughter is? Both in the things she finds to give you and in what she herself gives to you. Sigh. I love the picture by the way!
What a lovely posie! Your daughter has a great eye for color and composition. Looks like you have a little florist in the family!

A little girl after my own heart. I can't remember the last time I got a little treasure like that from one of my kids!
That is so beautiful and thoughtful!
What a beautifully designed gift! Such a little blessing.
very telling of what's to become of this little one I see design in her future...Jennifer
that's beautiful! perhaps she'll be a designer when she grows up--she's got a super eye for color and combinations! and it's so sweet!
This looks like a little painting. I absolutely Love the creativity of children. They see beauty that we miss, don't they?
