Woo Hoo!

I just about popped out of my seat the other day when I noticed that I was one of the lucky four picked over at Anna Maria Horner's blog for her yummy yummy fabric giveaway! I had just been over to one of my favorite local fabric spots and bought that print above. The owner of the shop saw me and knows what I like and she said- "hey you have to see what just came in" and pulled it out from behind the counter so I got first crack at it. The colors are just so beautiful. Little M loved it just as much and said she would wear a dress out of it so there you go. I sewed it up last night and she loves it. I found that ribbon for the straps in my stash and I think it is such a great match.

So, already being a fan, I was pretty darn happy to see my name up there at Anna Maria's. Here is the whole thing. Such a little lady. Meanwhile the dog has been spending many an afternoon freaking out in the plastic pool. He jumps in and out in and out in and out all day (which is why that water is so brown!). When he gets in he starts looking for those pesky cartoon drawings because, in his mind, they are alive and must be taunting him somehow. Then he paws at the pool bottom and tries to catch those critters in his mouth. Being as they are printed on and completely one dimensional, he is not having much luck. What a goof ball.
